The second video explains how to shop and what key elements you should compare when shopping for a mortgage.
1) What's the interest rate? Are there any points? (Most of the time Mike offers the best rate)
2) If you lock in your rate and the interest rates drop before you close are you entitled to a free float down? If not, how much would it be? (Yes, Mike offers this free of charge)
3) What fees are associated with the mortgage? Ask if the total fees include the application fee, credit check and appraisal fee. ( Mike charges $790 total and that includes your credit check AND appraisal - NO POINTS )
